What are your experiences with this medicament? Is it as good for losing weight as they say?

OP explain what this 70s stuff is

I'm not OP, but Ephedrine is a stimulant, it's often used for weight loss (though its no longer legal to market it as such) in combination with caffeine (EC stack) or with caffeine and aspirin (ECA stack). The aspirin isn't really necessary (and in fact doesn't make a real difference unless you're obese, apparently), a lot of people don't use it or sub fish oil instead.

It works, there have been a few studies showing that it increases metabolic rate and suppresses appetite.

Stacked with caffeine, it only increases calorie expenditure by 5-10%, but usually closer to 5%. It's an extra 100-150 kcal/day for most, but that's not magic. What it does do is suppress hunger and give extra energy, but something to keep in mind is that while the thermogenic effects will continue so long as you use it and actually improve the longer it's used, the appetite suppressive and energy effects will diminish if you don't cycle off. The biggest benefit to it by far is that it increases fat oxidation so that a larger percentage of calories lost during a cut come from fat instead of muscle and glycogen.
Capsaicin in large amounts (between 7.5-135mg/day) increases fat oxidation as well but does not increase TDEE and EGCG (extract from Green Tea) when taken around 90mg x3/day and stacked with caffeine slightly increases TDEE, but more importantly increases fat oxidation as well.
Fat oxidation is your body's ability to break down fat to be used as energy. The higher the fat oxidation, the less your body needs to resort to utilizing protein and carbohydrate sources (muscle and glycogen) to fill its energy needs. This means that you can hit a larger deficit without losing muscle mass and means that larger deficits will not elicit ONLY additional weight loss from muscle and glycogen.
As a general rule of thumb, the starvation experiment found a rate of 31 kcal/pound of fat as the maximum rate at which fat can burn per 24 hour period in non-resistance training, low protein individuals. From my own research on various articles and studies, 45 kcal/pound becomes the theoretical limit when eating proper amounts of protein (0.82g/lb) and resistance training x3/week. Capsaicin increases this amount by 150kcal per day, and EGCG increases this number to 48-50. ECA increase this as well by an additional 5-10% to roughly 52.5-55 when everything is stacked.
You still need to hit a caloric deficit, these substances simply increasing how low you can go.

Easiest way to get high levels of capsaicin is from Habanero peppers which are sold at many stores for 25c/pepper. 1g of pepper = ~40mg of Capsaicin whereas most pills use Cayenne and only contain 2.25mg/pill with only 90 pills per $10. Capsaicin's half life is 1.6 hours so should be dosed once/4 hours 4 times a day. Split the Habanero into gel capsules ($10/1000 caps) if you can't swallow them whole.
My math isn't perfect, so I marked down the amounts in my original post, though they also assume that all of the substances are synergistic and the effects combine as opposed to level off, so I'd think the end result is pretty fair. I'd also not that it would be an EXTREMELY good idea to hit Maintenance kcal once/week as your body will prioritize replacing lost glycogen over fat loss, so even though you are hitting Maintenance, you may still lose fat as your body takes calories from ingested carbs that would be used for TDEE to replace lost Glycogen stores - this is what happens to depleted bodybuilders post-show who "fill out" during their cheat meal.

autism here, how do i go about getting some of this?
>>42151867
Per calculations (assuming one day of Maintenance/week):
Weight: 200lbs
Body Fat %: 15%
LBM: 170
Fat Mass (FM): 30
Max Deficit Rate: 52.5/lb Fat
Deficit: 30 * 52.5 = 1575
Weight Loss: 1575 / 3500 = 0.45lb fat
End Weight: 30 - 0.45 = 29.55
Percentage: 29.55 / 30 = 0.985
In other words, assuming proper stack, one would need to lower their deficit by a rate of 0.985 per day. So:
Week 1 (Rounded): 1575 - 1550 - 1530 - 1505 - 1485 - 1460 - Maintenance
Week 1 Weight (Rounded): 29.55 - 29.11 - 28.67 - 28.24 - 27.82 - 27.40 - Maintenance

Off the shelf
For the US, you need to buy it over the counter at a pharmacy and will need to show ID with a limit of 2 boxes/month. Costs $15. In the UK, I'd imagine it's the same. Look up proper dosing schedules before taking it, and also note that Aspirin is theoretically useful for ECA stacks, but not in actual practice taking normal amounts and is better left out.
