I'm type 1 diabetic in my late 20's and have done keto for 3 months. 45 pounds down from 235. Blood sugars are completely stable. I haven't been exercising and have lost more muscle than I want so I'm starting a cardio, and kettle bell routine. I've gotten weak and it is unacceptable.

I'm using keto as a tool to get the fat off, and learning how to sustain a healthy lifestyle. I don't know if keto is sustainable long term, but I will stay low carb just for the diabetes.

it's effective. Even after you stop doing keto it's much easier to manage carb intake. Ppl eat way too much carb on average.
