Ever since I did one cycle of test, there is just literally no reason not to do it. All my lifts went up so quick it was fucking insane. Better investment then wasting money on stupid shit like multivitamins.

If you want to lose weight, reduce your calories, lift to preserve muscle, and be consistent.

How long will depend on how much discipline you have and how much fat you have to lose. But that time is going to come eventually, and it would suck to still be fat with another failure under your belt and a mouth full of excuses.
