Looking through Craiglists to find dumbells/barbells, is $125 a good price for this?
"Silver set
148lbs Total Weight, solid Chrome bar; Solid Adjustable Dumbbell bars
The dumbbell bars, collars and some of the plates are brand new.
Long bar /collars weighs 15lbs, dumbbell bars weigh about 3lbs each"
thanks in advance

thats like 4 months of gym membership where you can use real weights, wtf are you gonna do with those?
>>42144710
lift them
It's not a great deal, assuming you have time to wait for a better one.
A good price for new weight is $1/lb. Used weight, especially in non-standard sets, should be a lot cheaper than that.
If you really want to make a game of it and save some money, go to dumps and recycling plants. 80% of the time you can find a bunch of old weight plates just sitting around in the sun waiting to get melted down. Take them home, clean them off with a nice strong solvent, then buff the rust off.
It's some white trash shit but it's a fun project.
Get a gym subscription you cheap nigger

Yeah looks like i ll just wait/ook around for a better deal, thanks for all the info
holy shit no
that shit is worth £30 most - so like $40 maybe
but yeah like anon said if you want to buy weights please please please buy an Olympic bar
otherwise you'll get strong and then have to throw these away when you can use them anymore
>>42144664
I would never pay 125 for that shit.
50 bucks maybe.
>>42144664
The sand weights are fucking terrible...
>>42144708
yes, you fucking idiot. never buy regular plates.

>50 bucks maybe.
i wouldn't give $20 for that.
