Crossfit is the best exercise routine for functional strength currently available! Cardio alone only builds endurance and weightlifting only builds mass - both alone do not teach your body to adapt to real life situations. Crossfit combines both into something that you can actually use in real life and enjoy! Make sure to take your time learning and pay for a few sessions with a good PT before you try the more advanced crossfit exercises you may see on tv. (Don't start with weighted barbell tosses or ball squats!)
This thread is for the crossfit community of /fit/ and those who want to learn about crossfit and need advice. Don't be afraid to ask or provide helpful answers!
