i always feel tired af and light-headed after some 1x5 heavy deadlift

yes, you're probably still a novice
drink water
go weight training on a empty stomach only (unless you're doing a cardio-only training session)

make sure you eat enough sodium, potassium and magnesium (don't over-supplement those thou)

but most importantly
make sure you approach heavy taxing compound that will likely require you to hold your breath for the whole execution only once you've taken some DEEP BREATHS
make sure you BREATH in-between reps if you're doing conventional diddlies
breathlets, when will they learn
sadly most people skip learning breath basics on the major compounds. breathing technique is fundamental to all of them

This. I find when I take some real deep breaths and then one final one on my reps to brace tightly it increases what I can lift quite significantly.
