I get horrible stomach cramps when I run/jog, usually happens after only 0.3-.5 miles. I wait an hour or so before running after eating something and I drink at least a bottle of water before hand.
These stomach pains are fucking me over and I don't know if it's normal for not running much or if It's what I'm eating.
I'm 5'10 93kg/205lbs. Any suggestions?
Either a side stitch or dehydration.
A more remote possibility would be a lack of abdominal flexibility or poor breath control or both. Rule out the first two and then if the cramps persist get a running coach

are you drinking soda? if I drink any kind of soda a day or two before I run I get a bad pain in my side
Don't eat anything an hour or so before a run, and if you do have to eat, only eat something like a banana.
I can't eat anything for about 3 hours before a run or that happens to me

You what, mate? All that ingested food and water are sloshing around inside your stomach and causing those cramps, are you dense?

Either wait 6 hours to actually digest the food or jog fasted

Hydrate throughout the day, not right before you run. 1 hour might not be enough time for you in terms of food. Bananas are good for cramps
