So I need a new backpack /duffelbag-backpack combination
I have to store a laptop and gym equipment in it, any recommendations?

Unironically, I recommend the bag of holding. Two large storage areas for for clothing and books, as well as a dedicated padded laptop pocket. Has other pockets for smaller shit like cords and pencils too.
