Hi /fit/izens,
Long time lurker here.
first off: yes that picture is me. Last picture in that line was about 2 months old. Ever since I've been lifting heavy but maintaining the same weight.
Current stats: 6'4'' 195 lbs. I just had a lower body lift 4 months ago. They removed about 10 lbs of excess skin. In 5 weeks I will have another operation on my chest, removing additional excess skin.
What is the best way to determine body fat? I have very muscular legs (from carrying my fat body around all those years) but a horribly underdeveloped upper body. I have saggy skin making it harder for me to use the pinch thingies (I have one though, says that I should be around 12-13 % BF).
Should I keep lifting heavy while maintaining weight to cash in on beginner gains?
Current routine is the 5 day push pull legs push pull routine from muscleforlife.com.
Any kind of input is really appreciated.
nothing?
your bf% is higher than that, 15% atleast

Bodyfat calipers.
Electronic bodyfat calculators are a meme.

sure? They will remove about another 5 lbs of skin from my chest, pulling lot of skin up from the sides in the waist and the upper stomach in front. If I tip my sides, there is hardly anything between hip bones and skin.
Holy fuck OP you are me. Dem skin tiddies suck right?
good job man, looking good.
Is this 20%?

looks 18%ish with zero muscle mass
Hydrostatic bodyfat testing is most reliable IMHO.

its just the bad picture angle, right?

No you should lose some weight

yeah, only 5 weeks until they are gone forever

the problem with the calipers is that my excess skin kind of fucks around with the measurement.

What happened to all the loose skin? Surgery?
>>42131226
thanks, I will have some fucked up scars for the rest of my life. But at least it will be a life worth living.
The mental changes outweigh the physical ones by far.

Had a lower body lift 4 months ago. The upper body lift is coming up in 5 weeks.
