This photo was probably made somewhere where I live so yes, of course. Every school has an opened place like that where everyone can train. Also city hall builds stuff like this in the parks but it never lives long.

Some of them are made to row your bodyweight, also some unpowered ellipticals. Still this stuff is children-oriented and 200+lb guys like me snap them in seconds.

Well, non in my town.
There are plenty of playgrounds, but they put "only for children under 14 years" signs on them.
Used to visit one after dark for pull ups and leg raises before I moved.
There is also a pull up bar in a forest of sorts 2km from my place, it's way to gnat infested there tho.
