I took /fit/ advice and saw a doctor about my shoulder pain. It was an acromioclavicular separation from repetitive shoulder/arm workouts.
Anyway, I'm getting a gut now because I'm sitting around all day because I can barely pick up weight without setting myself back.
It's sucks. I can't bench, curl, do dips or anything like that. Why even live?
Bumping
I tore my meniscus in January, got surgery in February, and still am not allowed to do leg workouts.
I know that feel anon, I have bitch legs.
I slipped a disc in the end of last year during a powerlifitng comp, it was so easy to just become a fatass since I was unable to squat or diddy.
However if you just control your diet you should be able to control it e.g I lost 14 kgs easy just with diet and only upper body gym.
i couldnt lift properlyue to a metal plate on my collar bone for 9 months
i did lots of leg press, some light rows, and maintained my deadlift at 2 plates
if i were u (speaking from experience) id do lots of glute ham raises, biking, and rows

You eat sensibly, dumbfuck.
This is not magic, there is no alchemy. Fitness is eating and exercising. If you can't exercise, you need to focus on not eating so goddamn much.

I got a tendon issue at my elbows and couldn't do fuckall with them. Lifting more than 3lbs with my left hand was unbearable. I just did legs, cardio and abs for the most part till I fully recovered. Good luck man

Walk.
Eating so little that you dont gain weight while being sedentary would leave you nutritionally starved and slow your healing or even make your situation worse.
So eat a very nutritionally dense diet and walk a lot.
Also you could try this.

I have a complete traumatic AC tear in my left shoulder. I compensated by doing fucktons of face pulls and shrugs until my collarbone became more stablized from the muscle, and now I work it out as if it's not even hurt less than six months later, no surgery
oh roids help
