Is floor bench a meme? I'm reading everywhere how it is an excellent replace for regular bench, but without the threat to your shoulders and pecs. My max bench is ~300lb but since a pec tear I am around 285 and feeling really twingey around my rotator cuff and right pec, and want a safer way to hit high weights without reinjuring.

Of other note, my OHP is 185 is easy peasy with no twinge, so i know I havent sustained another real injury. Also, this may all be terror of another 6 months rehabbing my pec

it takes alot of stress off the pec at the bottom of the movement, which means its not going to aggravate your injury, but without limiting ROM so its better than a floor press or a spoto press

it helps with stability/bar path etc too, but the main benefit for you is not "ow mine pec"ing yourself
