why is this subpar program held in such high regard?
I still do not understand why people run this program over much more intelligently designed ones such as the Juggernaut Method
>program elitism
Fact of the matter is you get more results based on other factors like rest and stress than program minutiae

It like pretty much every other program works as long as A) you're not a GDE and B) you eat a lot and sleep a lot. If you don't do those things then no strength training program will work.
It also gives you a lot more available volume to do sports specific training/cardio/pursue other things in life than many other programs.

Juggernaut method is still 1x week frequency for each lift so I don't see how it is any lsss shit
Thousands of people have made progress on 5/3/1

desu if he is talking about the program in its original iteration without joker sets and FSL work, it's pretty flawed, but nobody should be running that in this day and age
I ran that piece of shit back in 2013 and the AIDS-patient level of volume predictably did absolutely nothing for me (except for deadlift, because it was till an increase from pulling 1x5 once a week)
the new version I can't speak to, I haven't run it nor do I plan to

Juggernaut method has a lot more volume in meaningful intensity ranges
>>42099922
because for most people it's babby's first periodization, and if you add some volume to it and double up on the frequency it works just fine
the popularity is just due to the weight of T-Nation marketing behind it *sips Plazma*

This.
That said, also this >>42100312

If you double the frequency but not the AMRAP heavy sets it's pretty fucking boss tier program. Unless you dislike autoregulation, then ignore it completely. I just find AMRAP and jokers manage fatigue very well. If you're an intermediate you should do a N-suns iteration with weekly progress, not the original one with monthly progress
