You'd get good at deadlifts and eventually they will become too heavy to properly recover from within 2 days, so you substitute them for power cleans every second time.

It's not my lower back or CNS that limits my deadlifts but my fucking hands hurt from being crushed in hook grip.
If you *never* round your back you should be fine unless you have some pre-existing condition in your discs because if you fail a lift it'll never go past your shins. Just know your limits and know how to fail correctly. Never grind through a sticking point by rounding.
