I know this board is no longer "Fitness & Health" and instead just "Fitness" but I need help
I've been running a fever the past three days and it's not going away
Symptoms
-high temp
-bad headache
-eye pain
-moderate sore throat
-light nausea (still able to eat some stuff)
my question to anyone out there is this
should I continue to take Advil at night so I can (kinda) sleep
or should I get under the covers and sweat it out through the night?
ty in advance

what do you mean kind of sleep? do your symptoms prevent you from falling asleep?
what do you do for a living, if you dont mind me asking. eye pain isnt normal. also describe your headache and where it is

eye pain is abnormal, might be from phone screen bc can't sleep
as for the (kinda) sleeping, it's like fever sleep, I drift in and out of consciousness and when I wake I don't feel rested
headache is at top of head and a bit in the forehead, I think it's bc my head is so hot
(not on gear btw just a meme)

Sounds like either a flu and you're being a pussy or possibly some kind of infection. You should try to find out if it's maybe something in your house e.g. just started using a new febreeze or something like that

you lost me on febreeze

Just kidding, it's more likely you're being overly sensitive and putting any pains/normal irritations down as symptoms. Is it hot/humid there? Could be heat exhaustion or something like dehydration

Well from your initial symptoms I thought it could've been a minor allergic reaction or irritation which happens often when people try new detergents, air sprays ect..

Stop looking at your phone/ a screen all night, thatll make your headache worse and continue to give you eye pain
Drink more water, thatll help against dehydration and possibly help your headache. Gargling with saltwater helps your throat (just mix some warm-somewhat hot water with salt), you might want to take cough syrup or something else that will knock you out for the night, and be sure to take it early and get to bed early
I find that if i dont get enough sleep (especially when sick) i get nauseous and a slight headache, so that might be exacerbating it
