I'm not flexible at all, probably due to the fact that I only lift in the gym then sit at my computer all day.

What's the best daily stretching routine?
Stretching for 15 secs returned the recently contracted muscle back to its original form. Stretching that muscle for 30 seconds and beyond improves flexibility.
You now know what to do after lifting
Give your self 15-45 minutes to move you body and find what's tight, then stretch that. Keep moving and stretching
