Help me out /fit/, judge my protein bars and tell me if I'm making a mistake. I had pic related today when I ran out of (see below). It was delicious, but will I lose gains if I continue to eat it?
>200 kcal
>11g fat
>220mg sodium
>27g carbs
>11g fiber
>15g protein

This is my normal bar.
>200 kcal
>6g fat
>200mg sodium
>16g carbs
>1g fiber
>20g protein
Obviously more protein in this one, but would my gains suffer if I ocasionally ate the former?
Also, post your own bars /fit/

Quest bars are overpriced bullshit for retarded yuppies.

These are better. I bought a couple dozen for $0.58 each a few weeks ago, and a couple dozen of the large ones with 30 grams of protein for $1.00 each also. I keep them in my bag in the hospital so I don't lose my gains while working in the NICU.
>not buying your protein bars at Big Lots
Go homemade or go home

I like quest bars because they have more fiber than most. But be careful of the Quest Hero bars, they're made with allulose, which is a new sugar substitute, and which causes my bowls to immediately discharge up

>5 cups of oats
>1.3 cups of pb
>1 cup of coconut cream
Wow, you made like 3,500 kcal of food with only 100 grams of protein. This could be good snacks for backpacking or long distance biking/running, but as a "protein bar", it's pretty fucking garbage.

I dont think there is a Big Lots anywhere near me
I usually go for the costco brand protein bars, they have virtually the same exact stats as Quest bars, but I occasionally go for no-cow bars as a treat, cause they expensive a f
160 calories
4.5g fat
25g carbs
19g fiber
1g sugar
20g protein
also user friendly because dairy, soy, nut, and gluten free. Not that I care about that, I just like the minimized calories for max protein and fiber
>oats
>mixed nuts
>mixed seeds
>protein powder
>mixed dried fruit
smush everything in blender, chill and cut into bars
doesn't taste great but cheaper and prob healthier than store bought bars

I havent seen these at Costco, are they usually next to all the other protein bars?
Stopped eating protein bars when I found mymusclemug
My gym used to stock fucking amazing mint choc protein bars and I wish I could remember the name cos they were fucking awesome
>>42086817
I don't think the nocow bars are at costco, I get them from a regular grocery store. I meant I only get the costco brand ones at costco, sorry for the confusion man
>>42086091
are you me?
>>42086817
i get them on amazon usually, i really like chalky dry bars unironically so peanut butter is my favorite

The PB is good, but I think the blueberry are my favorite. Granted, the shoprite I get them from only has PB, blueberry, mint and raspberry truffle. You try/recommend any other flavors? If I'm gonna buy a whole box I don't want to risk it being bad.
