I heard about intermittent fasting some time ago and I thought I'd give it a shot. But for whatever reason, I've been hungry and sleepy for most of the day after I've eaten. I normally eat directly after my workouts, or if I'm resting, around noon.
Is this normal? Have you guys experienced this? How do you guys do your fasting?

>after my workouts
that's your problem
you shouldn't be working out, it's really bad for your body.

don't listen to this fag, I do IF as well and workout and I'm doing just fine although I take energy supplements to combat any tiredness plus my sips before lifting. How long have you been fasting OP? Your body is probably still getting used to having one less meal, give it about a week or two

I've been eating a meal a day for about a week now. I don't take any supplements beyond a multivitamin.
Might be a blood sugar/insulin thing. Maybe your first meal is too sweet and is causing some sort of crazy fluctuation in your body. Not sure though, just speculation. I fast a lot and I normally feel fine. Also I believe it's actually normal to feel some what sleepy around noon to 1 pm time. I usually have to take like a 20-30 min nap if I can, but after that I feel like a champ for the rest of the day.

okay.

okay you should be eating 2 meals or getting enough calories in one to hold you off for the rest of the day, try taking some weightless pills, most are jam packed with energy shit. Or try eating just a bit more
