it's all about rem cycles.
look em up.
but basically, sleep in 3 hr intervals.
I can only seem to get 6-7, even while going to bed tired, at night and without an alarm set. I don't feel refreshed when I wake either, I simply cannot get back to sleep
i try to get atleast 10 hours.

Usually try for 9 (10 PM - 7 AM)
I try to fall asleep around 10-10.30 every night, but the time when I wake up seems to be completely random, between 6.30 and 8.30.
I have to wake up at 0500. I can't sleep 8 hours. I would have to go to bed at 2100.

why can't you? What do you do after 2100?

5-6 broken hours. I work 10 hr overnight shifts which really throw me for a loop even though I've been doing them for 3 years. But even when in exhausted I can't sleep much anymore.
I'm unfortunately used to functioning in a semi exhausted state. If I didn't work out so much my health would probably be even worse.
It varies, I think I go to bed mostly between 11 and 2, and wake up between 6 and 9.
I live a mostly clock-free lifestyle. I try not to look at my phone, my home has no visible clocks (even in the kitchen), and I disabled all the clocks on my computers.
I go to sleep when I'm tired, and I sleep without a curtain so the sun wakes me up and if I'm still tired I'll go back to sleep for a bit.
I'm sleeping at 6 in the morning, till 3 in the afternoon, where I wake up naturally.
Does this has any negative impact on hormone system / gains? I mean, I still get 9 hours of hours of uninterrupted sleep, and I wake up naturally.
Does it matter that I sleep early in the morning?
