Did you guys meet your cutting goals by the July 4th deadline?
(Also any advice on getting my serratus anterior more symmetrical? Pic related is me)
I cut 16 pounds in 3 months w/o gym access bc im poor
Id say it went well
Cut 30 pounds in 6 months. 5'11 195lbs to 165lbs. Got a pretty good six pack, girls are loving it. So it went pretty good.
I'm having difficulty maintaining now though, feel like in order to meet my caloric goal I eat shittier than on my cut and am not as strict. Cutting for me is easier than maintaining

I'll be in Hawaii at the start of August. I planned on being 12% but best I can hope for now is 16. Is that good enough to have decent ab definition?

Not OP but poster above yours. 16% you'll have small definition when you flex. I'm around 12-13% right now and my 6 pack is finally pretty defined when I flex.
8,9,10 is when you really see it all.
Do you use a caliper to measure body fat?
I've been on a cut since march 2016. Down from 270 to 182 today. I only started going to the gym in february of this year so I'm finally taking it pretty serious. Trying to get down to 150-160 by christmas.

Almost 100 pounds nice fucking work. Keep that shit up. A lot of people don't realize how huge of an accomplishment that is.

It doesn't feel like an accomplishment, it feels like atonement. I feel nothing from it.

I use a body fat scale so I know it isn't very accurate. I have cut before but i assumed if i cut more than 1% a week of total body mass that would equal almost 1% body fat but no matter how much weight i lost i still couldn't do more than 0.5% a week. How long did you cut for? I should have planned more than three months in advance.
Started in December prepping my body. I was at about 22% body fat.
January through June went into hardcore cutting mode, strict diet, 5 days a week in the gym.
I'm aiming to keep it going through september, start a lean bulk, then back to cutting again in January and hopefully make it down to 9% by next July.
Yeah shit like this take years to accomplish if you want to do it the healthiest way.

I got really sick and couldn't keep any food down except bananas and gatorade for 4 days, I lost a shitload of weight. Pretty solid accidental trick.
Went well, 5'8" 193lbs
