Also, fitness textbook and exercise science resource thread.
What texts have you read that you really liked and use a lot?
Are any of you subscribed to MASS? Thinking of subbing to it myself.
Here's a drive link to a bunch of fitness texts and resources. Have fun m80s.

I read it all, even watched his youtube videos and read his diet advice and fell for the fucking meme that is SS
I got a little stronger and a lot fat and now I'm doing PPL instead

his programming advice is obviously a meme.
the form training seems obviously useful and of high quality.

Starting strength, keto diet, veganism, kettlebell workouts, bodyweight training, fasting...
Most anons are borderline ADHD, and can't focus more than ten minutes on a given topic. They watch 2-3 Youtube videos and then attack [insert concept from list above or other] for not achieving results said concept never claimed to achieve in the first place.
Read starting strength, great book to get into STRENGTH TRAINING. It never claims to give you an "aesthetetic" body, it recommends pull-ups, dips and legion of other accesories, it specifies GOMAD is for teenagers who need to build mass.
But armchair fitness experts couldn't be bothered to read it entirely, and go on a rant "muh T-rex legs, no arms..."
Might as well blame your cat for not barking.

Yeah Rippetoe says quite clearly that that will happen and you'll have to lose the fat later on if you care about that.

This book collection is terrible.
Does anyone have "Scientific Principles of Strength Training" from JTS or Mark tuscherer's RTS book?

the only book that matters.
