I have been cutting with a 1000 calorie defecit for about a week and although the first few days were rough I feel generally fine. About 600-700 calories of my defecit comes from various exercise including weight lifting and cardio. I was wondering if maybe too much of my defecit comes from exercise or if I am on the right track. Attached is a picture of an average day for me

I don't get it. Why don't you count exercise?
I run 4 miles 3 days a week, should I just not log the run and eat at my normal intake for that day? I don't count all the walking I do to and from the gym, nor do I count any weight lifting.
I mean, it's calories in-calories out, and if you actually track what you eat instead of estimating, why would you not eat back any cardio you do?

Because it is very easy to overestimate calories burned in exercise. Messed me up for three weeks where my weight didn't move.

Count exercise if bulking, don't count if cutting
easy
but if you're bulking then stop counting calories just like eat more
