Are handgrippers a meme?

Your mom is a meme
They're real for people who lost all power in their hand, like after an aneurysm. They're a meme otherwise.
This planet is a meme
>twinkies
>no interstellar travel
I'd punch the ground if it had nerve endings
I only know anecdotal evidence of people improving their grip strength for deadlifts from them.
If you're playing an instrument they are not a meme, but for lifting 315+ pounds off the ground, maybe stick with farmer walks.

I use them to stave off carpel tunnel syndrome (desk job) and as a less autistic form of a fidget device. I don't think they've helped my dl grip, but I enjoy doing them to squeeze some gains in at work. Also, it makes normies think I'm a superhuman when they fail at closing the trainer size while I'm reping the 2 size.

>while I’m repping the 2 size.
Nice.

pretty much
they help you grip with more force, you won't need that kind of strength in any of the compound lifts
They're Chad fidget spinners
They won't help your grip strength that much, lvl 1s are what 155 lbs of crushing force? They are good for general forearm strength, crushing and pinching force.
Good for lots of manly stuff like handshakes, opening jars and choking people
Are they good for climbing?

I used them for armwrestling training. Maybe it's placebo effect, but I believe grippers helped me improve.
I use it as a stress ball at work.

bodybuilding wise they are a good way to fire your forearms after your arms training
