Post and whine about all of your injuries/recoveries here. I'll start (started lifting 2 years ago);

> torn chest muscle
> costochondritis
> left shoulder subluxation
> right shoulder subluxation
> right bicep tendinitis
> some kind of lower back injury, possibly a disc bulge
> left forearm tendinitis
> possible piriformis syndrome? (just started hurting this week)

To the niggers who never get injured - how do you think you avoid it?

i have left elbow pain. no fucking idea what it is, i went to an orthopedist and he told me to take an elbow ecography (not sure if thats how its called in english) which found absolutely nothing. meanwhile pain continues

Most of these injuries have mostly healed. I didn't have all of them all at once.

But if this is still abnormal, then I have no idea why I am this injury prone. I don't even lift very heavy.

Winged scapula. Not really an injury per se but it derives into shoulder pain, back pain, bad posture, asymmetry in all my muscles, have to adapt my workout to it... etc

Been lifting for 6 months off and on (due to injury)
Calisthenics before that.

lower back pain 24/7 (not sure why, and neither did physio)
shoulder pain (sleeping incorrectly?)
elbow pain
hip pain (FAI?)
knee pain

Any of these will manifest themselves any time, except for back pain which is all the time. Affecting my gains, to be sure. Have tried multiple recovery techniques, and they won't leave. I fear I am doomed to be injured my whole life.

Interesting shit: My father had terrible hip pain for a couple of years. He exercised regularly, and became depressed when he couldn't anymore because of the pain. Doctors/physio had him in and out for different treatments, and were considering surgery. Then he saw a specialist who told him that there was no apparent reason why he should be in pain (no injuries, structural problems). Now he has no more pain. He went from barely being able to walk or even sit to being pain free within a couple days, because he realized that it was in his head.

Iktfb. Every time I start hitting PRs something gets wonky and I have to take time off until it heals. Start over, something else.

Currently dealing with some weird bilateral bicep tendinitis that only seems to be affected during the bench press descent. This one is especially frustrating bc most of the time I can figure out what I was doing wrong or what exercise my body just doesn't like, but I'm at a loss to the cause on this one. At least I can still squat and dl. Until I get hammy tendinitis again or something anyway.
