I live in LA, and I work in clubs around Hollywood/West Hollywood. Both guys and girls are way more fit and generally attractive than anywhere else I've been in the U.S.

It's seriously like the "attractiveness scale" got slid up by two points. 7-8's are pretty common place and 9-10's aren't particularly rare. It's actually rarer that I'll see someone who is noticeably fat or ugly.
