Any fighters out there?
Im looking to start training in some form of fighting because I want to get shredded, also fighting would be a fun pastime. Not looking to make it to the UFC or anything. What fight training should i look into that would get me shredded without giving me brain damage like boxing? I mean unless boxing is my best bet, just make good points and I'll listen.

Depends on your effort, if you do 2-3 classes a week you will get better but you might not get "shredded" depending on your diet.
I second BJJ it has a really high mat to real life application ratio. Like if you don't grapple like at least wrestle then you just don't have any idea how to defend against BJJ, it's very cognitive and kind of foreign feeling compared to how most people see fights going in their minds.
So even low level practitioners have a pretty big advantage over people who don't train grappling.

Wrestling if you want to be in good shape I still remember the practices I went through. wrestling was by far the hardest thing I've ever done

Much appreciated, I already have a 6 pack from half ass workouts throughout the day, maybe about 50-100 situps per day. I just want to be pushed and have fun doing it. I'll look into this

You won't box enough to get brain damage, princess. Sorry.
Why do you need a specially engraved invitation for this... it's the same shit that is recommended literally every time the question is raised. What about your situation is so different that you think it'll warrant a different answer?
Jesus this topic was already done to death earlier. Read that and take the advice from there.
