If your cut is getting to around 1200 calories a day, or you are also doing intermittent fasting there can be some difficulties in balancing macros. like if you are going for 55/35/10 then chances are there is very little wiggle room for you to hit 0.7 g/lb of protein.

For example if you are doing 1 or 2 24 hour fasts a week you can only consume 500 calories that day, which makes it difficult to get 100 g protein unless you only eat egg whites.
(300 g white meat chicken will get you 93 g ~500 cal, or 425 g of strip steak can get 98 g).
