I don't know i've never had AC while working out, but i've noticed people who aren't used to no AC can't do as many repetitions in hotter enviorments. It's probably just tolerance to heat that's making the difference.

Want to know the real reason why you'd workout in the heat?
Skin will have some added color. Done it myself, I had a ghost white face and in the matter of 2 months of working out in heat I had a nice "tanned" face.
