Would it be smart to fast during working hours (9-5) while cutting?
not really, you would feel like total shit.
Yeah fainting in front of your boss is also a good idea brainlet

Does anyone really consider skipping lunch a "fast?"
Yeah skipping a meal will help you eat less, but only if you don't overcompensate when you actually do eat.

I do that everyday. Absolutely fine. But it really depends on the strenuosity of your job.

No, buy I've found its an easy way to cut if you pack a small lunch and that's the only food you have access to.
I don't eat but I do drink coconut water

Fasting for a short amount of time like that brings no benefits whatsoever.

sure, if you're unemployed
i just try to limit myself to < 400 cals during the day, luckily there's this neat thing called cardio to burn off anything extra i do eat

I do this often, its good for weight as well as saving $$. For me its the best time to fast because im busy at work and its easy to not think about food.
You are not going to faint or loose your mind, those guys saying that are idiots who have never skipped a meal.
There is some truth in the fact that it may not be effective as a fast (i.e. lowering your insulin) because you plan on eating breakfast. Best case you skip breakfast and lunch every once and a while to get the full fasting benefits.

its difficult
I had to stretch out meals to avoid snacking.
The random stress in an office job whew
best just to much on veg, till you are full
>im know as carrot man
Be prepared for your coworkers to hassle you constantly about how unhealthy it is to skip lunch
What's smart is eating every 3 hours. Regular people with shit health often pass 6+ hours without eating but everybody serious in fitness eats more often.
