>Your existence is a lie
Bullshit. I can't speak for YOUR existence, though.
>There are no gods
We don't know that. But we may also want to expand our definition of what constitutes a "god".
>Love is a neurochemical con job
Probably.
>Time is a flat circle
Bullshit.
>Communism will win
TOTAL bullshit.
>Everything is a chemical
Yes. But again we will probably need to expand our definition of "chemical".

Lol, what? Russia didn't win because they were Communist. They almost LOST because they were Communist. The only things that saved them were 1. The US, and 2. Their cold ass fucking winter.
Not that it did them any good in the long run. Their Communist economy still ended up collapsing, and even to this day, the only rich people in Russia were the people who were in charge when it collapsed.

Answering the question
The texas method as I read it from JL book a long time ago, was more focused on the method of the progression rather than the specific movements.
Rippletits likes to recommend doing power cleans and back extensions, they are there too in SS if you read that.
Now, the thing in both books is not the movements themselves so much, other than working in big lifts/compunds with accessories here and there, but rather how to train, how to progress, how to do it.
Read the fucking book, not a web summary from someone who didn't read it either.
So, yes, you can work your back in any other way you want as long as it's analogue to the back workouts laid out in the theory.
The TM is about the % load progression for the big lifts while not forgetting accessories. Is it a main lift? do the TM progression, is it an accessory? do the one that benefits you the most.
Don't do 80lbs rows forever, work them too.
I wouldn't do power cleans the day I do deds, one or the other imo. Easy on you (hypertrophy range) back extensions are recommended because they are a healthy way to supplement the ded. I don't do them though.
