I always try to stay under 100g of carbs on a cut, and I hear under 50g can kick you into keto, which really helps with the fat loss.

Is this true, or is a calorie just a calorie?

I want answer for this as well. I'm a triple fatass

Calories are not just calories. Use a macro calculator.

It is true, I lost about 15 pounds by being under 40 g of carbs in one month. And that was without lifting or anything
>>
A calorie is just a calorie but you are not considering satiety. 2000 calories of Mt. dew is much less filling than 2000 calories of steak.

I doubt you could finish 2000 calories of steak, but getting through a couple 2 ltrs would be easy to do.

Is it low test that I want her to sit on my face?

Wrong. There's more to it than calories and satiety.

When you're trying to cut you need to keep every macronutrient, including carbs. If you don't, the excess protein you eat gets burned for energy so you're just wasting it and it's not like you retain any more muscle mass. It's more worth it to just remove 50g of carbs a week until you get down to like 200g and then keep it there. After that point just increase cardio a bit week to week to keep losing weight. Eating less makes you retain less muscle mass, so you're better off just burning more calories.

To keep your carbs lower, stick to one portion of a grain per day (ex. Oats or rice), beans, and green veggies. Any vegetable is good, really, but green is especially good. Every 10 cals of spinach has 1g of protein.

Cutting carbs helps with weight loss because when you arent holding glycogen you are holding far less water. Its one of those cases where weight loss =/= fat loss
