Which way do you load plates onto a barbell? Facing inwards or outwards?
>>41981810
Most of your friends hate you btw.
outwards if you're lifting big weight
inwards if you're lifting babbyweight
>>41981822
Why?
>>41981828
What would you consider babyweight?
>>41981857
I'm just joking lad. It doesn't matter which way you put them on.

What I've noticed is, that here in germany the people tend to put the plates on facing outwards, while people in the US usually put them on facing inwards.
>>41981895
I wonder why that is.

Alternating in and out is the best proven method
I do inwards because my fingers grab the rim of the plate
All facing outside, to create a balance with the weight of the writing
I use nothing but Intek cast steel plates so I don't have this issue.

holy kek
I wasn't aware this was important, but facing out because I'm an autistic for symmetry
What gyms don't have proper plates that show the weight on both sides?
Depends on what lift.
>>41982458
This, but it doesn't matter
The plates at my gym are identical on both sides
>>41981822
Lmao

Gyms with old iron plates

The same reason why traffic lights in Germany are in front of the crossroads, and in the US behind the crossroads.
>>41983655
...which is?
>>41981810
First plate in, rest face out.

Americans read the number of the plate behind the barbell, and Germans read the plates in front, so that's the same situation on a crossroads in these respective countries.
