two months and I've gone from 268 to 227.

Gone from not being able to jog a 1/4 of a mile to running a mile in 8ish mins

Able to do 1000 jump ropes in under 10 mins


from no push ups to 300 a day

I might switch to Texas Method soon. I was hoping to get to .5/1.27/2/2.77 before then though so I have to try and power through for my bench and deadlift

Went from 144 two months ago to 152 got a ways to go since I haven't bothered to keep track of the workouts posted but I will post them after I go to the gym tonight.

I've always been to paranoid and lazy to work my chest to the fullest.

Now I paid the price

i ended up caving and gave up on my diet for like 3-4 weeks, but here's my progress since getting back into a deficit.

>currently 170 @ 15%
why i temporarily quit my diet is pretty simple. i had been eating too little and doing to much cardio before getting into weights, so i pretty much stalled right out of the gate (i was so weak, depleted, whatever that i failed 95lbsx5x5 on bench). after my break, i stayed at basically the same weight but strength gains started to happen.
bench 115x5->125x12 close grip
squat 115x5->175x5, some of which were paused
deadlift 1pl8 conventional->205x5 jefferson
chin ups 1->10
barbell row 95x5->175x5
neck extension bw x15->+40lbs x25
if anyone's wondering why i dropped deadlifts for jeffersons (and barbell hip thrusts) it's because my core and glutes were insanely weak and couldn't fire appropriately while deadlifting or squatting. in the last ~2 weeks, i've been doing a lot more glute and hamstring work to try and correct my imbalances. also using my ab wheel 4-6x a week (went from barely being able to roll into planking position to roll outs and back, from pike position, with hands ending several inches in front of my shoulders)
tomorrow is the /fat/ weigh in, so hopefully i'm actually in the high 160's now

~1.5lbs/week is great progress, definitely at the higher end of sustainable loss for most people. could you lose faster? maybe, but the amount of cardio and food necessary would likely worsen your quality of life. you've made great progress, keep it up.

Trying to figure out why my bench is so low, I can deadlift 300, squat 225, but only bench 135. I do dedicated chest days, and bench a fair bit but I'm just not progressing with that lift compared to others. what do?

Been on SS for for month and a half after losing the weight through calories counting and HIIT cardio 3 times a week over the course of a year. I'm at like 23% bf so I should still be cutting, but I just kinda stopped and started lifting while eating maintenance.

Squat 90 ->165
Dead 135 ->215

Need to learn power cleans really soon.
