And my nutritional physiology teacher with a phd says it's fine, as does the rest of the physiology faculty.
Can't say for other people, but I'll sooner believe a bunch of doctors than a nootropic shill.

3 months in atm, done it 3 months on/off for the last 4 years.

Just got the flu though and none of my keto friendly food agrees with my stomach other than almonds and I've eaten like 300g today so might order a pizza

I recommend reading "the ketogenic Diet" by lyle McDonald if you are interested in it.
Covers basically everything you want to know.
For a strength athlete it is not very optimal and should not be done for a longer period of time.
However for cutting it works pretty good, but not better than a psmf for example. But both make you lose fat fast and work the same way which is dropping Insuline, leptin levels and forcing your body into a ketogenic state.
If you don't cycle carbs or do some refeeds you will definetly lose strength.
