Who gives a shit about the world championships
Don't be the faggot that likes watching sports more than you like competing in sports or Hobbies

i'm going to be running this for my DL alongside c6w for squats, how should i program my lower body days?
since c6w usually has squats 2x a week, should i split up the deadlift program on here so i'd do the 80% 3x3 DL on the first day of the c6w squats and then the 85% 3x3 block pulls on the 2nd day or should i do all the DL work in one day, PLUS the squats from c6w, and then have the 2nd squat day just for squats and maybe some light DL accessory work?

why are you running a peaking program for DL if youre running a normal program for squat??
I wanna do a local meet in August., mostly for fun and some additional experience.
Right now I am doing TM and it works great and I don't want to disrupt the progress I am making by unnecessary peaking (which would left me with shitty work capacity post-meet).
Do you think that switching to triples instead of 5rms on ID and using my best triple as an opener would be ok? Am I risking injury by not handling weights above 90% prior to my 1rm attempts?
Is it crucial to taper week beforehead, or can I safely just replace one intensity day with the meet itself?
Just in case, I think my openers will be around l m a o 150/100/180 (am
sub
junior).

Yeah you don't even really need to peak at your strength level
The week of the meet I wouldn't lift at all except meet Day. You will feel amazing and strong trust me brah.
Maybe 3 weeks out, hit a 3rm, 2 weeks out 2rm, rest meet week

because c6w is working for squats but my DL form and progress is suffering because i feel like i hardly ever do them
also i love deadlifting and want to be good at it. what is the problem here?
>>41951620
If you want to hit some easy singles meet week on Monday you could do that too. Something like 80 or 85% for 2-3 singles on the lifts
>>41951569
imo you should be doing triples on ID anyway if you want to do powerlifting. I dont think youll be at risk of injury. if its your first meet I wouldnt bother with a taper, just treat it like a normal ID but with singles and have fun
>>41951620
this is a meme. dont have a week off before the meet
>>41951667
It's what I've always done. How is dropping fatigue a meme?
>>41951623
a peaking program isnt going to build your strength, it will peak it in prep for a 1rm attempt
>>41951620
>>41951626
Thanks. I think my total would benefit from peaking as I am a lot better at attempting low-rep prs (I squatted 155 before and couldn't squat 120*5 back then), but it seems wasteful and counterproductive right now. I wanna keep braking 5rms as long as possible.
I'll definitely hit some easy weights the week before, even if it was just for technique practice.
>>41951647
Well I treat my training more like a general strength training and don't plan on competing a lot in future. I just enjoy lifting and compliments on my ass
Basically, once I am repping 180 squats I'll probably switch to weightlifting.

in any case the frequency should help with form issues then, but if you have a better program for this please hook me up with some info or a link or something

Took the liberty of creating a thread with a proper OP.
Someone kindly link the dropbox for books and shit thanks.

sounds like you are being jewed for gains.
i would rather say keep doing 5x5 and add in some chin ups after every workout as well as some band pull aparts in between every push set and band/cable facepulls after every other workout.
im no PT though

>a peaking program isnt going to build your strength
>it will peak it in prep for a 1rm attempt
you said the same shit in two different sentences
congratulations brah
