How i make it for me:
>blend 200g almonds till thick butter (if you think its done, blend it some more)
>slightly roast 100g oats in oven
>mix

its a very good base, then I add the following
>20g blended flax seed
>20g sunflower seed
>5g chia seed (adds nothing to taste or consistency i just needed some micros from it)
>20g crushed pumpkin seeds
>5g sesami seeds (because I had some)
>100g dried cranberries (other may also work, but the tartness of cranberries works great)
>10g honey (leave out if anal about sugar, its really needed since almond butter is already kind of sweet)

the seeds were chosen based on the micros/macros I missed in a day.

Whole thing is about 2200cal, fat:carb:protien is about 3:2:1, but you can modify it to fit your needs.

Basic guidelines is about 1 part oats, 2 parts nut butter, 1 part dried fruit, 1 part seeds for good consistency.

I have given up alcohol entirely and i have replaced it with tonic water only (i was a big fan of gin and tonics) ...i'm already going through numerous bottles of it a week. Luckily it's the diet stuff so basically no calories but it hasn't stopped the hunger pangs.

I made some pancake recipe I use for bulking which taste good as fuck with pretty decent macros

~1300 cal
125g carb
55g fat
65g protein

ingredients
>80g oats blended into powder
>60g flour
>30g whey
>2 eggs
>40g butter
>15g sugar
>~300-350ml milk
>little bit of salt
>little bit of cinnamon

makes 7 pancakes with the pan Im using, like in the pic not those thick small ones you see americans make.

recipe
>cut 7 chunks of 3-4g butter melt the rest for in the batter
>mix dry ingredients
>add like half the milk and the melted butter+eggs
>add rest of milk until good consistency which is about 325ml total
>pan nice and hot
>add a chunk of the butter
>bake pancake short and high heat

You can eat it with jam honey maple syrup or whatever if you're a bitch but honestly just like this is sweet enough.
If you increase the ground oats and decrease the actual flour the pancake will a bit harder 80-60 is perfect for me, add more whey if you want.

I find that adding fruits to my oats ruins both the oats and the fruit.

My recipe:

50g Oats (quick variety)
200ml Whole milk
50g Peanut butter
30g Whey protein (chocolate flavored)
200g Strawberries

Oats:
1. Mix oats and milk together
2. Heat in microwave for roughly 3 minutes at 700w, adjust times for different wattage
3. Add peanut butter and whey protein and mix well
4. Serve

Strawberries
1. Wash strawberries and add to separate bowl
2. Serve

800 calories and 40/30/30 carbs, protein and fats respectively.

One of the things I haven't seen mentioned yet in this thread is Coconut milk. It's extremely calorically dense and can be used to make a very easy curry. You'll need curry paste but that's pretty cheap and a container lasts a long time.

Season your chicken but skip the salt. Curry powder, garam masala, pepper, cumin, and cayenne are all good choices. Heat some oil in the pan, add garlic and ginger (fresh is much better than powder) along with your chicken and curry paste. Cook the chicken for a minute or two on each side then add the coconut milk. The ratio of chicken to coconut milk doesn't really matter; you can always add an extra can if you want. Peanut better can also be used to add flavor and extra calories. Lemongrass is a good addition as well. Cook until the coconut milk is simmering and then make sure your chicken is done. It's doesn't really matter if you overcook it because it's swimming in sauce.

This can also be done with fish, pork, etc.

DON'T PUT OATS OR NUTS IN YOUR GODDAMN SHAKE. It never, and I mean NEVER, blends in. You end up with nut and oat chunks suspended in the shake, that sink to the bottom. It's fucking terrible.

Do this instead:

2 cups whole milk
1 cup greek yogurt
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 scoop protein powder (I use Now Sports unflavored whey protein isolate, I'm sure others can be used, chocolate is probably the best flavor option for this)
Two honking spoonfuls of Nesquik chocolate milk mix, ESPECIALLY if you didn't use chocolate protein powder

Blend it for a moment (seriously, this shit will have blended together in 10-20 seconds, nice and smooth).

Adding up the labels from the yogurt, peanut butter and protein I use, and assuming it's about 4 tablespoons of Nesquik I use, it's:
-2100 Calories (1440 of that is the peanut butter)
-122 grams of protein
-137 grams of fat
-126 grams of carbs, 83 of which are sugar

It tastes pretty much like a Reese's peanut butter cup, but there will be a wee little sour taste from the yougurt. It's not bad. Specifically, I use Great Value (Wal Mart brand) creamy peanut butter and non-fat, plain greek yogurt (I have never seen a non non-fat plain greek yogurt).
