Because if it doesn't work, then what? Gaining muscle doesn't mean you'll know how to pickup women. Even if you have a woman approach you and begin a conversation you could sperg out and ruin your chances anyway.

Because being physically fit won't increase your chances (very much) of getting laid if you're socially inept.

On top of this lifting or exercising for yourself will be much more motivating than bettering yourself for the sake of someone else.

Just depends. If you have a 5+/10 face, yeah probably. You'll get facial gains by losing weight and lifting weights. Only like a point though.

Because that's a bad reason and it is fleeting. Motivation is disciplines autistic cousin. You want discipline because discipline gives you better gains and confidence in the long run. Motivation may help you get started though.

be fit, get a good job, make over 150k by 28-30 and you will have the best years of your life. find some nice Russian girl who will <googly eye emoji> for you at 36 and settle down.
