Will training too much/too hard ruin my gains? I did a total of 60 sets today on my chest/legs and im paranoid that im simply building endurance instead of strength and muscle
I workout five days a week too.
60 sets what the fuck

Yes. Taking rest is as important as training.
>>41939720

is going to the gym 6day a week ok if youre doing brosplits ?
>>41939065
60? Dude what the fuck... To answer your question, yes. Over training will actually hurt your gains (still better than not training)

Yes.

Overtraining is a meme
Train as much as you want, whatever your body can handle, it's different for everybody. If you got through a 3 hour workout and 60 sets good for you, work hard. Just make sure you are eating enough to compensate. Basically it will only ruin your gains if you are not eating properly.
I would assume at 60 sets and 3 hours would be like a 1000+ calorie burning session. Eat to compensate and get a shit ton of protein. I wouldn't make 60 sets a regular thing either but do what works for you. At 60 sets, 3 hours in the gym 5 days a week I would probably be eating in between sets at some point. Also make sure you are getting a lot of sleep.
You are roiding, right?
Also: how many grams of protein u eat everyday? Take any supplements?

>claiming to go hard but can do 60 sets
if you went hard especially with legs you wouldn't even be able to do this you faggot.
OKAY NOT OP HERE BUT I NEED ALL OF YOU TO STOP WITH THE BROSCIENCE AND ANSWER ME THIS QUESTION.
Say i would work out a muscle group each day til i can't do any more reps, even if that muscle group still hurts from the last day.
BUT i ate like 100-120 grams of protein a day.
Would that be worse than training that muscle group every other day and eating the required 70-80 grams or better?
why?

kys

No roids
Sips before workout
At least 140 grams of protein every day
Zinc in the morning, multivitamin at dinner as supplements
>>41939065
Do 98 sets and then come talk to me
>>41941987
Okay bro, just did 100 sets of 5lb dumbbell curls, 1x1. What do I win?
>>41941987
>Not squatting an empty curl bar for 200 sets
Overreaching will hurt you.
There's a point when you're no longer reaping gains and you're just making the recovery take longer.
