I tend to have a problem finding shirts in regular fit because i'm 5ft 9 with broad shoulders and a thick ribcage
So i generally have to go with large stuff and then it sort of hangs around my waist
With work shirts I have to go a size up to fit round my triceps and back

my go to clothes nowadays as a reasonably fit guy are

Anyone else here from a super hot, humid climate? I'm pretty much confined to t shirts for 7 months a year. It does feel good to get fit though, t shirts make everyone show what they have and a fit body comes through well.

If I'm going out I find fitted v necks look great, just make sure to shower cold to keep the sweating away. Anyone else got any tips for climates like this?

Material of shirts makes a huge difference imo. Dress shirts made of lightweight wool or broadcloth cotton instead of heavier weaves.
If you're in a situation that demands a blazer or coat, wear one that is half lined or sans lining.
Most blazers have heavier woven lining that doesn't let them breathe.
I have to do business in the Caribbean every once and a while and I sweat my ass off all the time until my tailor talked me through it.

Mostly when I'm bulking it's during the winter though, so my clothes are looser and layered rather than just a fitted dress shirt.

if they're good they'll have you in with an in-progress piece, do a second fitting, make any necessary alterations, then call you back when they're fully done.

You can order made to measure stuff on line or in person. Brooks brothers does it, but for the price range I would go with Mercer and Sons instead (better quality + dat collar). You definitely want to have someone such as a tailor take your measurements instead of doing it yourself if you are going this route.

Alternatively you can buy a shirt and then take it to the tailor. The most important thing is make sure the shoulders fit in your shirt, followed by the collar. The more alterations you want, the more it will cost. So try to the right sleeve length too.

I just had two shirts tailored. Had them brought in in the torso, sleeves, and had the sleeves shortened. Cost $30 per shirt. Would have been much better if I had sleeves that fit to begin with, but whatever. I use old Asian ladies tailor shop near my house.
