This guy is right. Slowly lower your portion sizes so that you're running on a calorie deficit. Cut out empty calories like soda. Eat less fast/processed food.

First calculate your TDEE. (Google it).

Then make a meal plan that's 80% of that figure.
Include lots of vegetables (So you can eat a lot to feel full without taking in too many calories) and add lean protein/wholegrains.

Make meals in advance so they're always ready when you need them and you're less tempted to have cheat.

They key is consistency in the long haul.
