People like to claim Mewing is the end all be all but:

- there has been no single person that has produced evidence of it working to improve the face of an adult, not even anonymous pics online
- the creator of the technique says he believes that it can stop the advancing of a a recessed maxilla but isn't sure it's possible for adults to improve it
- although he said it could be possible but how slow bone reshapes, you'll get results at best in a year of doing it 24/7

That being said, if done right it can't hurt, and will at least keep you from getting uglier with time.
