if you aren't having digestive issues just stick with yogurt and fresh sauerkraut. digestive enzymes are a cheaper start tho

Only useful if you have a legit dietary problem. I used one after a round of antibiotics and that helped with my stool. My mom got her own bottle of pills and it did jack shit.

The flip side to this, is that we don't live in fucking Liberia and have no need for this shit.

So yea it's an actual thing, having healthy bacteria in the digestive system is good for you, but it's also a meme and we don't have any real need for it on the scale that probiotics provide. Just eating Greek yogurt a few times a week puts you further ahead than 98% of the population already.
