My doctor told me to breathe in for 4 seconds, hold in my breath for 7 seconds, then breathe out for 8 seconds.
My blood pressure ended up being 124/62 and it was in my left arm.
Would that have made it inaccurate or more accurate?

You're supposed to do that to slow your heart rate for sleep. Why would your doctor tell you to do that?

He said that it would make me more relaxed and prevent white coat hypertension.

You're heart rate would naturally slow until you breathe in again then bp would skyrocket, so would be inaccurate. are you trying to pass something??

No but my doc might be trying to shut me up about my blood pressure. I bring it up everytime I see him.
It was my psychiatrist for bipolar disprder
By how much will it be inaccurate?
If your bp was that low you don't have hypertension. It needs to not only be a lot higher but be higher consistently. Also bp reading errors tend to cause it to be read too low, not too low.
