How many push-ups should the AVERAGE HEALTHY male be able to do?
I'd say 20-30
I could do 60 consecutives when I was a skelly teenager so pushups are a shit metric
100 is what i recommend
At least 60
depends on your definition of "average healthy". someone who has been working out for years should be able to do 100+ easily.
but imo, the "average healthy" person in america is just someone who is a healthy weight, not over or under. they don't workout much and can probably do 20 in a row before buckling.

For military here you need to do 75 in 1 minute for max points
I'd say if you could do half of that you're alright
