Can I have some advice?
At the moment I'm doing Nuckols' 3* int med for bench and addiationally do three sets of OHP on fridays and 4 sets of seated dumbbell presses on mondays. I initially focussed more on bench because it sucks. But I miss OHPing, so I want to reintroduce it in a productive way. How would you combine the 28 programs bench versions to get both in? 2* int for bench and 1* int for OHP but wich reduced accessory volume? Or take the first and third day of 3* int med and make it a 2-day-bench-program?

Just do Beginner 3x bench, but do OHP. This way your OHP progression is auto regulated and only rest 2min between sets. So for less than 10mins you did 3 sets and know how to progress. Obviously do this after you bench because it's an accessory.

I'm okay with slow progress. If I did additionally as 1*int on wendesdays to 2*int med for bench it would still be kind of an accessory. Would that be too much pressing volume if I did all the accessories of the programms?

I will never understand this response. Every one that gets into fitness won't touch a book until they realize there's literally no other way to learn the material they need. I've been helping 4 normies IRL over the last couple months. Every one of them, I gave 3 books to (and access to many, many more)

every one of them said "yeah sure I'll read it", then proceeded to ask me every fucking question possible that WOULD HAVE JUST BEEN ANSWERED IF THEY READ THE FUCKING BOOK IN THE FIRST PLACE over the next 4+ months.

then when I called them out on it, they were like "lmao did you think I was seriously going to read that"

Hell, girlfriend was one of them. After a month of RP, improving her stomach fat DRAMATICALLY and losing like 6 lbs, she was fucking freaking out because "it [RP] wasn't working and she was just as fat as before". I've been so frustrated in my life. She got fucking textbook results (literally, lost exact amount of lbs she should have for the kcals she cut) and was freaking out because she had no idea what she was in for or should be expecting, because she didn't read the fucking material.


so i told them all what I'm going to tell you: go fucking read the book. I'm more than happy to answer questions, but I can't convey _every_ fucking topic in the book as well as it does, and more importantly you won't remember if I just "tell you".

hands down the best chest exercise is cable flys. angle it upwards if you want to really destroy that upper chest. if you want aesthetics, bench and cable flyes are all you need. high volume high rep cable flyes negates any need for dumbbell or incline presses.

It will come on rather quickly though I think, as it will be more muscle coordination and muscle building centered to adjust vs. the putting your fucking soul into aspect the first time around.

Everything was going great 1.5 months ago. Then i had stress n shit and barely trained for like 2 weeks. When i tried to get back to my regular lifting schedule everything went wrong. Wrists hurt. Then i injured my core while fucking sneezing at home. Never even knew that was possible but it hurt so much i still cant deadlift properly. Shoulders were bad as well. And today i did some very very light deadlifting only130kg which is usually below my lowest warmup weight. 8 years lifting back the only thing i never had any injuries or problems but no first set 10th rep during lockout i snappedmy lower spine. Hurts like hell, couldbe disk dislocation. Fucking how is that possible.

The pause should only be long enough for the weight to come to a stop. The idea is to train control if jerking weight off the ground is your problem. A pause longer than that is a waste of energy and just overloads your grip and erectors.

If you're a madman do double pause deadlifts. First pause is 1" off the ground and second pause is when the bar is at the patella beneath your kneecap.
The patella pause is great for working your hips to get the bar over the knees and locking out. This also trains your form because it isn't doable of you're the type to raise their hips too soon

Yeah no problem. I figured the patella thing out on my own while doing deficits, so I did them on flat ground and now I do all of my warm-up sets with the patella pause because it engages and warms up my hips best.

For double pauses I use 65% of my max and do 5 sets of 3. Additionally after you pause at the patella you should flex your glutes hard and drive your hips forward to get it over your knees and into lockout. Part of the reason why I choose a low percent and volume is so every rep can be controlled and explosive.

Yeah I used explosive deadlifts in order to not have to do cleans, and to get more deadlift volume (instead of the 5 reps per week on my program..) because my deadlift was lagging. It really helped, and my technique improved, but I notice there are some bugs still present. Especially regarding consistency, hoping these paused ones can make me really nail down what fires when and such. Looking forward to tomorrow.
