Then don't eat garbage. Just eat 500cal above your TDEE and don't forget to go to the gym. You won't get a six pack without going to the gym for a year or two and even then you might not get them without roids

Don't listen to the people telling you to bulk. Do neither. Eat close to your TDEE, if your lifts plateau try eating a little more but you can still build muscle, burn a little fat, and go up in your lifts without eating a huge caloric excess from where you're at. Try for 3-6 months and reassess where you're at then.

I never said anything about becoming a fatty. Bulking means to eat over your TDEE while lifting. All he needs to do is a lean bulk while lifting to increase muscle mass. If he stays at his TDEE he'll not have much gains

if you eat over your TDEE you will gain fat, period. TDEE takes into account lifting, BMR, etc. that's why it's called TOTAL daily energy expenditure.

You're a retard who clearly didn't read the sticky while it was up. YOU HAVE TO BULK TO GAIN ANY SIGNIFICANT MUSCLE MASS. YOU HAVE TO EAT SLIGHTLY MORE THAN YOUR TDEE TO BULK. BULKING=/=EATING 3000cal at MCDONALDS. If you bulk right then you can gain significant muscle while gaining a minimal amount of fat. Even if you do gain a little bit of fat it's no big deal, just cut a little until it's gone.
