CNS Fatigue

So I've been lifting on a PPLPPLX routine for many months now. In addition I run 2 miles every other day and do 150 sit-ups and 120 push-ups nightly. Recently I've been getting more and more lethargic. Could this be CNS fatigue? If so, is there something I can do to cure it? Anything specific I should eat?

Every 8-10 weeks you should take a lighter week or not lift at all. Especially if you're lifting 6 days a week with cardio.

I take a multi-vitamin. I eat about 3500 cals/day. Last weak I literally got about 50% of my calories from protein. Like x > 350g a day of protein. I thought that was a bit too much so I'm trying to get the more traditional 40/30/30 macro split this week. Thanks

I'd say it is CNS strain.

Going 6 days a week for long periods will eventually lead to overtraining your body is trying to tell you it can't keep up with the demands you are putting on it.

Take afew days rest, or take a Deload week. I'd also suggest if you want to continue PPL you move to an 8 day rotation which is kind of annoying but much more sustainable.

Sleeping more would probably help, going from 7.5 to 9 hours a night does a lot for me when I train more. It just sucks going to bed at ten.

The deload is probably easier. Taking a week completely off is probably a bad idea it makes me feel like shit. I've used the recommendation of dropping to 60% of your normal compound excercisd volume and eliminating accesories, you should keep doing the calisthenics and running since it has so little effect on CNS fatigue and probably helps you to recover faster.
