starting a new thing here, bulgarian general
discuss lifting every day, tips, progress or questions about maxing out on random lifts for a week or two then picking a new one.

It's a daily max, not a true max, and it is generally a good idea to do whatever assistance work you decide to do/have energy to do AFTER your maxes.

choose a random, non lower back taxing lift, go for a heavy single, and add 5-10 pounds per day until you either can't/get bored/ soreness is too much. you could to this will dumbell rows, t bar rows, split squats, rack pulls etc

if you're ver feeling a bit beat up bit still want to reach your goal in that light, take a day wehre u do the lift with light weight and high reps, or do a different lift that is similar in its motor pattern.
