Anyone have a FitBit? Is it a meme?
What are fitness trackers like that useful for other than seeing your heartrate throughout the day?
Any other cool data analytics you can do with it?

My ex gave me a Flex to track my abnormal sleep habits. Now I just use it to track my steps and feel better about myself

You can shower in the gym

Yeah, they're very convenient when I want to check my heart beat, and also to check my sleeping patterns on it. Not sure about the steps though, cause they are way off at times.

It definitely overshoots the calories burned on exercise.
The app is fantastic for me. But the wristband is useful for check my heartrate. I do the badges/challenges with friends and it gets me active.
Kind of cool. I don't think I would shell out $150 for a tracker though.

Garmond HR here its kinda a neat device it keeps me honest on my sleep patterns and basic HR data.
I do daily and weekend step challenges with other /fat/ users. Also, connect it to MFP to see extra Calories burned.
>look at the number of steps it counter
>measure the distance I walked
>each step I took was apparently 45cm in length
thats when i stopped using it

You can change the stride length. It guesses based on your height.
Highly recommend, especially since you can get them from normies second hand for cheap. Although calories burned are pretty off it still helps you ballpark significantly and made cutting waaaaaaaay easier. The heart rate monitor ones are the only way to go imo.
