Hey /fit/
Fairly long time lifter here.
I recently fucked my back from deadlifts. I was coming off a cut and lifting heavy every workout, and hit a 505 deadlift for the first time since December. It's that soft pain all around the lower back, it reminds me of DOMS from when I first started training deadlifts. There's no sign of a hernia or anything, but the pain has lasted about a week. Any ideas or advice?
(I'm scheduled to see my doctor tomorrow, but I'm wondering if anybody else has had similar experience and might have an idea).
Can you stand up straight or not? Does it feel like muscular or nerve damage?

I can stand up straight just fine. The pain comes from bending over. The pain is distinctly muscular, very similar to the long-term DOMS I would get when I first started lifting.

Tight glutes, hams, hips, quads or all of them together. Bugenhagen did put up a stretching video up, do that and write how your results are. Also try reverse hypers

Thanks! I'll look into that for sure. Also what's a reverse hyper?

I had the same thing. Damaged ligaments. Three months no weights.
